Summer closed her eyes and could smell the scent of Joon’s cologne, see his smile and soft sensuous lips; those lips that made her feel breathless when they were pressed against hers.

From Brooklyn's Song

“Okay folks, we’re going to slow things down a bit,” the DJ announced over the microphone, "This one goes out to the lovely Brooklyn.”

Roberta Flack’s voice soared over the rooftop terrace as she sang “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.”

I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. It's been so cold in New York, but I'm not letting that keep me inside. My hubby and I are still going on our nature walks searching for deer. I love being outside, breathing in the fresh air and seeing wildlife up-close. I was going to work on some short stories, but I've put that on the backburner. Now, I'm working on a full-length romantic suspense. I hope to have it completed by the fall. Please check back for updates and the cover reveal.
