My soon to be released new novel, The Last Firefly, draws from my childhood; the neighborhood, the experience and the people including some very colorful and interesting characters. It sounds cliche, but we knew the names of all our neighbors.
There is an underlying love story beneath the mystery. I wanted to explore a pure love. A love that, regardless of time or distance, would endure.
This story has so many layers and spans a decade and a half. It took
me a year to write and brought forth a host of emotions while working on it.
