Welcome 2019...

"I am the new year. I am an unspoiled page in your book of time.

I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the last twelve months.

All that you sought and didn’t find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search it but with more determination.

All the good that you tried for and didn’t achieve is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires.

All that you dreamed but didn’t dare to do, all that you hoped but did not will, all the faith that you claimed but did not have—these slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened by the touch of a strong purpose."

Loved this audiobook review.

"I read both books awhile ago it was nice to have them in one set. I am looking forward to the next installment. Sydney Arrison is one of the most passionate writers around I love her stories. Wen and Jasmine are fire. I'm going to listen again."

Winter Solstice 2018...

I'm not a fan of the cold, but I do enjoy a cozy, romantic fire and a hot cup of cocoa.  Most of my novels take place in the Summer and in the Autumn. I've decided to change it up a bit and write a novel that takes place in the Winter.  I'm looking to release it  at some point in 2019.  Keep checking back for the cover reveal and the blurb.

Writing break music..

Yes, I love a sappy love song. This is so inspiring when writing a #lovestory

"Last night
I waved goodbye,
Now it seems years
I'm back in the city
Where nothing is clear
But thoughts of me holding you,
Bringing us near
And tell me, when will our eyes meet?
When can I touch you?
When will this strong yearning end?
And when will I hold you again
Time in New England
Took me away
To long rocky beaches
And you by the bay
We started a story
Whose end must now wait
And tell me, when will our eyes meet?
When can I touch you?
When will this strong yearning end?
And when will I hold you again."

Wordless Wednesday..

Nikki Giovanni: "Winter Poem"...

"Once a snowflake fell
on my brow and i loved
it so much and i kissed
it and it was happy and called its cousins
and brothers and a web
of snow engulfed me then
i reached to love them all
and i squeezed them and they became
a spring rain and i stood perfectly
still and was a flower."
