About Summer & Joon.

 

My previous novel, Brooklyn’s Song, is a romantic-suspense. I wanted to write something a little lighter this time around, my goal was to write an old-fashioned love story. I’ve never written a novel that takes place in the Winter or a story featuring a single-mother. The story is not only about the love between Summer and Joon; it celebrates friendships too, In particular friendships between women.

Story Synopsis: 

Summer is a single mother with a four-year-old son and a hefty bunny. She works in a diner with  some colorful characters, who regularly dole out advice about love and life. Summer wasn’t looking to fall in love until she met Joon. A handsome, successful entrepreneur. Their flourishing relationship is threatened by a ruthless family member determined to keep them apart.
