While working on the video for Lavender Sky I searched
high and low for a song. I wanted the music and lyrics to reflect the story.
When I heard the first note of the song “Autumn Leaves” I knew it was the one.
It’s as if the song was written for Jasmine and Wen. It’s about longing to be
with the one you love. It’s painfully beautiful and compliments the images in
the video. I like to think of it as Wen
and Jasmine’s theme. Some readers have
told me that they became very emotional after watching the video.
