“What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?”
I’d like to expand my answer.
My latest novel is Raelee Scattering. Although I’ve written romance novels, mystery is my first love. My mother passed away a few years ago. It was a tough time for me. I’ve learned there’s no set time for grief, and everyone copes differently. Writing is very therapeutic for me. I tapped into a host of emotions in Raelee Scattering. It’s a suspenseful mystery, a love story, and a who-done it. Detective Tae Lee has experienced unimaginable tragedy. His girlfriend, Gina Rae, has been there to help him through. The love they share is profound and unconditional. Here’s a line from the book. “Gina heard his tormented cries in the middle of the night, and instead of running away, she ran toward him.”
