MHS is one of my favorite stories. I look back on it and I see how much
I've grown as an author and more importantly as a human being. It was written during a very tough time in my life, my best friend was on her deathbed, and writing was my escape.
The the book was published right after my friend passed, it was so bittersweet. Still, I love the story and I knew if I fell in love with Wen while writing it, readers would also fall in love with him.
